## What it does [#what-it-does]

App-only. Reads or saves the Strata19 workspace view's own remembered state (which view was open, the last query) so a re-mounted view restores it. Scoped to one account and project; at most 32 KB.

## When to use it [#when-to-use-it]

**Use when:** called only by the Strata19 workspace view itself, never a phrase a user types — "restore where I left off" is handled by the view

**Also use when:** never from the model; hosts hide this tool from the model through its app-only visibility

## When not to use it [#when-not-to-use-it]

always, for any caller other than the workspace view; use strata19.open\_workspace\_view to show the workspace
