## What it does [#what-it-does]

The design canvas store. You (the host model) write the mockup HTML; this tool saves each frame as a versioned Library design reference, lists and reads frames, anchors comments to elements by data-s19-id, and builds the "change this element" prompt. Every result includes readable text. Saving or updating never overwrites: each save is a new version and earlier versions stay readable.

## When to use it [#when-to-use-it]

**Use when:** "save this mockup as a design" · "show my saved design frames" · "what changed between design versions" · "rebuild the change prompt for this element"

**Also use when:** a user is iterating on a mockup in the canvas and wants the current frame re-read with its element comments before editing

## When not to use it [#when-not-to-use-it]

the user is talking about app design in the abstract (visual identity, themes) — this store only holds saved canvas frames

Choose one via the required "action" parameter.

ACTIONS:
save\_frame — Save a new design frame (version 1) from HTML you wrote.
list — List the project's design frames with their latest version.
get — Read one frame version: its HTML and its comments (each live or orphaned).
update\_html — Save new HTML for an existing frame as the next version; the earlier version is kept.
comment — Pin a comment to one element of a frame by its data-s19-id.
promote — Propose attaching a frame version to a spec section as a mockup. Creates a pending proposal only; a human approves it.
send\_selection — Build the prompt that asks the model to change one selected element (returned as text; nothing is sent).
