## What it does [#what-it-does]

Cancels a not-yet-committed preview. Idempotent and safe: creates no Library artifact, and canceling an already-consumed/expired/cancelled preview is reported honestly, not treated as an error.

## When to use it [#when-to-use-it]

**Use when:** "cancel that import" · "never mind, don't import those files"

**Also use when:** the user backs out of an ingestion flow after seeing the preview

the batch has already been committed — commits cannot be undone by this tool
