Install Strata19 once for Claude Code CLI and the Code tab embedded in Claude Desktop. Both read the same Claude plugin state, so the project layer follows you between terminal and desktop coding sessions.

Install and connect

Step 1

Add the Strata19 marketplace

Register the released marketplace from its Git source.

Step 2

Install Strata19

Install the plugin at user scope unless you intentionally want a project- or local-scoped installation.

claude plugin install strata19@strata19

Step 3

Review requested hooks

Approve the plugin’s declared lifecycle hooks when Claude presents the install-time trust preview. Declining them leaves the MCP tools available while disabling the session and done-gate behavior.

Step 4

Open and initialize a repository

Start Claude Code in the target repository and ask Strata19 to initialize it. The Claude Desktop Code tab uses the same installed plugin and marketplace cache.

Verify the connection

Confirm the plugin is enabled, then call a repository-backed Strata19 capability from a real Claude Code session.

Know the boundary

  • • Claude Desktop’s Code tab is the Claude Code surface. The Chat and Cowork tabs have different extension systems and are not covered by this plugin install.
  • • The installed bundle and standalone Claude Code path have real MCP evidence; every Desktop UI behavior is not independently automatable.
  • • Host-specific hook and widget behavior may differ by Claude Code version even though the core MCP tools use the same bundle.
