Strata19 for OpenCode

Verified beta

OpenCode can use the same local Strata19 MCP server from its CLI and terminal interface. A real OpenCode turn has connected to the packaged server and returned a real Strata19 tool result; distribution remains a manual configuration, so this path is labeled beta.

Install and connect

Step 1

Get the lightweight plugin distribution

Clone only the packaged release branch, then note the absolute path to its plugins/strata19 directory.

Step 2

Add the local MCP server

OpenCode uses a top-level mcp object and a flat command array. Copy the launcher string verbatim from the packaged .mcp.json and replace the final entry with the absolute path to facade-stdio.js.

Step 3

Open the target repository

Start OpenCode from the repository and ask Strata19 to initialize it. Set STRATA19_PROJECT_ROOT explicitly if the host does not supply the correct root.

Verify the connection

Ask OpenCode to list MCP servers, then make a real tool call. The server should report connected before you trust any project result.

Know the boundary

• This is a verified manual configuration, not a one-command Strata19 installer or OpenCode marketplace package.
• OpenCode’s terminal interface does not provide an HTML surface for the Strata19 project pane. Tools return structured text instead.
• The recorded evidence covers server connection and a real tool round-trip, not every host-specific lifecycle or session-control capability.
