Routines

Routines are versioned workflow graphs. A definition declares actions and edges; a run advances through those actions; receipts record what actually executed. Publishing a definition and starting a run are separate decisions.

Strata19 ships ten routines:

Use strata19.automation_list_definitions and strata19.automation_get_definition to inspect the live registry. Use strata19.automation_run to start, pause, resume, and inspect a run. A completed step is evidenced by its receipt, not by an agent saying it finished.

Some actions require a persisted human approval. A routine cannot grant itself approval, and a failed step does not erase earlier successful receipts. See Author routines for the draft, validate, dry-run, publish workflow.
