strata19.read_evidence_artifact

What it does

Widget-only: returns a base64 byte range of one recording or visual-check screenshot listed by a verification request. Registered outside tools/list and refused to any call not originating from the embedded workspace; recording and screenshot bytes never belong in model context.

When to use it

Use when: "play this recording" — but from the Proof RecordingViewer, never from a model (the viewer calls it to play a recording)

Also use when: never — there is no model-side use of artifact bytes

When not to use it

you are a model: use strata19.get_verification_request for the metadata (digests, sizes, chapters); the bytes are not available to you
